Hey all you DOI fans...
Hope this finds you all happy, healthy and full of Dancing On Ice spirit!
Can I just tell you how good of a show you are all in for tomorrow night! WOW...
First off T&D with Leona.... CHILLS and TEARS! Just you wait!
Secondly, this funny little amazing celebrity (whatever that means) ice skating show is going to be the best episode of them all! Suzanne and I have had a great week perfecting what you will see on Sunday evening. She has worked (ok we've) worked so so hard this week and to keep her out of the skate off you all at home will have to vote vote vote to get "us" to the final!
Now more than ever does YOUR vote count as with only 4 teams left there is a 50/50 chance that each could be in the skate off putting them at risk.
We've got some great things planned for the routine and we hope that you all like them as much as we LOVE this routine. Its by far our favorite yet!
Thanks again to YOU lot for getting Suzanne to this stage of the show and lets keep her in till the end!
Again much love from the both of us!
See you tomorrow night!!!!!
(6.30pm)

"Happy New Year"
Happy New Year everybody. Just want to personally thank all of you who voted for Suzanne on Sunday night. She has worked so hard these past couple of months and really deserves to skate through week to week...hopefully to the finale of Dancing On Ice. I must say I have enjoyed working with her so much as we have found the perfect working enviroment of hard work, dedication and most importantly fun. We laugh so much everyday I have been able to stop training my abs and the six pack has come back....lol. (ok not really..it'll take a lot more work than laughing to get those stomach muscles out) but we do have a blast everyday.
Week 1 DOI was exciting to get back to business. The opening number of the show was an absolutely amazing experience. We had about 3 weeks rehearsal for that number and it went off without a hitch. Suzie and I were 2nd on in the program which I prefer to perform early in the show as you then get to relax and "watch" the rest of the couples skate. She scored well and skated great. We had a great time and are currently working hard to perfect week 2 routine. The bar has been raised and we are hoping that Suzie will rise to the occasion on Sunday night once again. I am super sure she'll be there with bells on...(at least diamonties).
Hope all of you are well and see you Sunday evening!!!

Hello EVERYBDDY!
Long time no see! Sorry for the absence but I am back in the UK and have already started training, skating, drinking my Starbucks and have found a small bit of time to have some fun!

M.E. on TV and in the FLESH
Hey Crew-
Just wanted to pass on some info FYI.
My ad with VEHIX.com is up and running on American tele. I have only seen it once but have been getting phone calls and emails from tons who have seen if fly by the TV screens.
Also, I'll be in Los Angeles for the next 3 weeks as I am filling in for a fellow skater who's out of the show at Knott's Berry Farm due to injury. I was called by Karen Kresge (bless her soul) last week to fill well..."jump" into the show last minute. Thanks to the AWESOME cast members whom all taught me fast and furious. I couldn't have done it without them. So yeah...I'll be skating in Snoopy's Big Bow Wow for till August 26th at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California...CATCH ME IF YOU CAN!
Hope you all are having a great summer! For you Oz'ies...a great winter!!

June's latest...
June 7th, 2007
Hello hello from the USA. YES! I am finally over the jet lag! Well, OK it's been officially a month since the tour has finished and I have been home. I cannot believe that it has been a month now...wow. I MISS THE UK and all my tour buddies! Again, all of you that came to the show and all of you that didn't get to come to the show your support was absolutely amazing! Every night we all talked about how lucky we are to have fans and the public support that Dancing On Ice has! I know I say it a lot but thank thank thank you!
Things have been busy since I've been back in the states. Exciting news though!
I did a days work with MTV this past weekend. I did a spot for the game show "NEXT" which is a MTV dating show. No I wasn't dating...lol. I was teaching the "daters" how to skate. It was quite funny and can't wait to see how the show gets put together. The show will air in August so keep your eye's out for it. I know for you Brits...they run that series just a few days behind the US programming.
Yesterday, I shot a commercial for VEHIX.com which will start running in a couple of weeks. It was the easiest day of work I've done to date. Literally was on set for about 15 mins! The crew was great as we battled a wind storm (we shot outside in the middle of a field) but from the sounds of it the ad is going to look great!
That's all I have for now. I'll keep you all posted as to what else happens this summer and let you know when I'll be back in the UK as I may have another surprise for you Londoners.
Cheers for now and hope this finds you all happy and healthy,
Matt
Jet Lag!
10/5/07
Hello all you GROOVERS!
Well it's a rap! The tour was a massive success because of support of the majority of you. We actually out sold Justin Timberlake in many of our locations! ROCK ON! We all had a blast and can't wait to do it again! I managed to stay healthy and NOT catch the DOI07 Ice Fever Bug..(as we called it).
I am home safe and sound. Taking care of all of my things here in the states including still doing laundry, unpacking the luggage and going through all of my mail.
I miss the UK already and can't get over this jet lag! Another day or so and I'll be fine.
Once again, thank you to all for all of your unending support for the show and the tour. We couldn't do it without you ALL! It was so great to meet so many of you along our travels...even in local pubs and clubs. Thanks to those who sent me gifts and especially my Ice Skating bear! He made it through customs and immigration just fine and is now a resident of the USA!
I should be back in London in the next month of so and will keep you posted!
Have a great day!
Matt

Hello all you skating fans out there! Well I am back in the UK after a well needed rest and recoup. Wow, what 6 days can do to your mind body and soul. Got back on the ice today, things are sore but I am gonna be OK! Bonnie and I are training hard again for the Champions Show as well as for our numbers on the tour. Lisa will be back this next week from work and Hoilday so we will start our training for the tour as soon as she is back. The aussie's are here as well. Its great to see them and have Jake and Lara around again.
Not much else to write but THANK YOU for all of the well wishes from everybody. That was awesome and is helping me through this speedy recovery.
Have a great week everybody!
7/3/07
Well, what a interesting couple of weeks. Sorry everybody that I haven't written on here in a bit but I actually have been really busy and now I do have some BAD news...read on.
After Lisa went out of the show, Jane and Chris did have me back for the pro group number prop week. It was a blast to go back to work and skate with everybody again. We had a great time putting the "cane" number together. From there...Lisa and I did the tele show's "This Morning" and then also did "Exclusive". Lisa has taken a well needed holiday and I've been back on the ice with Bonnie training for the tour.
Monday, Bonnie and I were working on a lift and just as I was bringing Bonnie down for a backwards landing the weight shifted backwards and I fell back on my tail bone, fracturing the bone in two. I have flown back to the states to have some well needed rest since I am not able to skate this week. It'll be day by day once I get back to the UK on Monday this next week. I am ok, I can walk so that is actually good news when you broken a lower vertibrae. I am due for a full recovery in a couple of weeks. No worries...."I will NOT be beaten by these things!".
I'll keep you all updated! Thanks again for all the support.

GUTTED! ABSOLUTELY GUTTED. WOW. WHAT A SHAME! THAT IS ALL I CAN WRITE RIGHT NOW....I AM IN SHOCK! LOVE ALL YOU FANS.
21/2/07
Hey all you peoples out there. Sorry it's been a week since I've updated the blog here. Things have been super busy and I am struggling to find time for myself. Things are good just busy.
It's so great to see all of you on myspace and the BlueRoom leaving your comments. Thank you for all of those! This week Lisa and I working hard as the routine is quite difficult even for me. It is jammed packed with techinically difficult "dance" moves. She's mastered how to skate own her own, she mastered how to be lifted, now Torvill and Dean have given us a routine that is physically challenging. There are so many different elements , it is jammed packed with lifts, jumps, spins and dance holds. We'll give you a great performance NO DOUBT!
A lot of you have been asking about autograph's and pictures and the best solution is to print off a photo from the "Matt's Pix" page here at matteveronline.com and then mail it in a self addressed stamped envelope to the studio (which the address is on the Dancing On Ice page here at matteversonline.com
Keep up the votes this week, maybe even throw in an extra one to save us from the skate off!
Again...a HUGE thank you to all of you for your support and especially to the ICE MAIDENS!!!!!
Bye for now!

Cheers everybody!

Show 4 here we come. It's pretty late on Friday night and I am just getting ready for bed after a long rehearsal day at the studio. Friday's are a bit hecktick for us as we are in in the morning for a normal training session and then we have camera blocking in costumes pretty much all day. Today, Lisa and I did THIS MORNING in between everything. So yes, I am a bit tired after rehearsals today. We are in not so early tomorrow (Saturday) so that is ok. I can't wait to show this next piece tomorrow night. We've been working really hard and it totally different than anything we've done before. It'll be exciting to see the reactions! VOTE TO KEEP US IN! I'll have a couple of exciting bits of info to release in the next week or so so keep checking this blog!!!
Good night!

Hello everybody...
Hope this finds you well! I've had a great day off spending this Sunday with my best friend we hit up a couple of hot spots in here in the South West. I've had a bunch of my LA friends in town this week so it's been great!
Woah, how well did Lisa do on Saturday night! I am so proud of her. She worked really hard this past week and she delivered perfectly.
This is just the beginning of her journey as Chris, Jayne, Karen and myself are pushing her even harder this week and we've got a great piece of music so I can't wait till next Saturday night. YIKES, only 6 days away!
Thanks again to all of you for voting and texting every little bit helps and we are doing all of this for all of you!
Cheers for now and talk soon!!!
31/1/07
Hello hello! Well thanks again to everybody this past week for voting Lisa through again. We had a great performance this week skating to Christina's "Ain't no other man...". I really worked hard to put that together and get the intricacy of the footwork that you saw on the tele on Saturday night. I was so pleased that Lisa skated her tiny little bum off and pulled off the 3rd spot.
This week we are working on a classic. I am excited to skate to a standard and to something that is going to be something completely different than what I've ever done. Fingers crossed we pull it off on Saturday night. If you are reading this ...just a hint, freshen up on the movie "When Harry met Sally".
I've got a bunch of friends in town this week and have been busy running around London and Windsor doing the great touristic things here in the UK. We've had some fantastic dinners, good laughs and it's so great to have my friends here with me. I will miss them dearly as they head back to the states.
Well, I am off to the rink to finish up for the day. This week Dancing On Ice starts at 6.45pm I believe. I don't know why the time changes every week. That's something different that we do not have in the states..lol.
Oh also, If you are sending mail to the Dancing On Ice address and requesting pictures. Please print off photo's from my Pix gallery on this website and send those in to have me sign, this seems to be the easiest things to do so far. Cheers for now!!!

Thanks again to everybody for visiting my new website and also for the overwhelming support for Lisa and I on this season of Dancing On Ice. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. We are midweek now and working our little bums off. We've had our choreography session with Jayne and Chris and are really excited about this weeks routine. Jason told Lisa this week on the show that she needed to "STEP" it up. Well, we have. She's doing great and let me just tell you that there is A LOT of skating this week. I think i've counted around 75 steps in this 1 min 15 sec routine. That's a lot. A normal routine will have around 30 steps or so, so we OVER LOADED! On a personal note, I am so happy the sun came out today in London. FINALLY. I forgot how grey winter can get here in the UK. I am a long way from California and have realized how spoilt I was spending my winters in Los Angeles. I do really enjoy the UK and am glad I am here again this season. I will posted our tele numbers and text numbers as soon as they come in. Keep checking back as I will keep you all updated as much as possible. Cheers for now and off to the rink!
21/1/07
Well the first night of Dancing On Ice 2007 went off with a bang, literally. Torvill and Dean opened the show with an amazing new program to "It's A Kind of Magic" and lots of pyro. Lisa and I were first to skate. We opened with "Dancing Queen" and had a great performance until the last 10 secs when Lisa hit her toe pick and feel to the ice. To her defense and against the judges comments she did a fantastic job getting up and getting back into the routine. There wasn't enough time left in the music to do the additional spin that was planned. She scored a 17.5 was we are through to the next round. CONGRATS LISA! Wait till you see what we do for you this week! IT'S PRETTY AMAZING! I am really excited for Show 2. I hope you guys like it! Ok off to the rink for lots of training this week. Thank you to all of you who voted! All the best, Matt!

3 days to go!
Hello and Welcome, I am so excited for the site to officially be up and running. Thanks for stopping by. I will try my hardest to keep you updates and posted on everything with my happenings "as they happen". This website and blog I know are going to be much easier to keep you all in touch.
Here we go, just 3 days until Lisa and I hit the airwaves across the UK. We are both very excited to showcase what we have been working on for the past 2 months. I think you guys will be very impressed and hopefully well entertained. We are in last minute preparations for Saturday nights premier of Dancing On Ice 2007.
I am healing fast from an strained neck muscle (yes from a lift) but thanks to our amazing pyshio Sharon Morrison I am on full fast track recovery. Lisa is finally healthy (touch wood) with her rib injury she suffered from earlier this season.
All right, that's about all I have for now. Can't wait to see you all on Saturday night. Once we get our ever important phone numbers and text numbers I will post them here as well!
Cheers for now and welcome to my new virtual home!!!
